Overview
Indigenous Strategy is Laidlaw Foundation’s commitment to work more visibly and intentionally with Indigenous communities and support action on Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations. It invests in young people and youth-driven groups within an intergenerational framework and supports cross-cultural learning, long-term commitment, and Indigenous priorities.
The strategy also directs funding toward land, language, culture, decolonization, nation building, reconciliation, and the transmission of cultural practices to future generations.
