The Indigenous Priorities Fund provides grants up to $50,000 to support Indigenous communities and organizations within the South Island region. The fund aims to strengthen social, cultural, and legal infrastructure through Indigenous-led initiatives and partnerships.

How to apply
Create an account on the Survey Monkey platform once it is live on October 1, 2024.Prepare project proposal detailing objectives, activities, and expected outcomes.Submit the application online through Survey Monkey before the deadline of November 4, 2024.Optionally, submit an oral application by contacting the designated staff member before October 21, 2024.Await confirmation or follow-up communication from Foundation staff in mid-December to January.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed for eligibility and alignment with program objectives.
- Applicants will be notified of decisions via phone or email.
- Funding agreements must be signed before funds are disbursed.
- Progress and final reports are required for accountability and continued funding.
