The Indigenous Genomics Training and Capacity Program offers funding of up to $750,000 to support projects that advance genomic innovations in energy and environmental solutions. Financing terms and conditions
- Funding available up to $400,000 per project from Genome Canada.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be Indigenous-led, supporting First Nations (status and non-status), Métis, or Inuit participation.
- The project must focus on building Indigenous capacity in genomics, including training and career development.
- The proposal must integrate Indigenous knowledge systems, values, and perspectives.
- The application must be submitted through Genome Canada’s Proposal Central Portal via a regional Genome Centre.
