The ImpACTE Fund supports innovative entrepreneurial projects aimed at addressing social and environmental issues by proposing solutions that generate significant impact. This program offers financial assistance of up to $25,000 and is intended for initiatives such as community composting, the circular economy, or biodiversity protection.

Financing terms and conditions

  • Non-repayable contribution of up to $25,000 per project.
  • Total fund envelope amounts to $500,000 thanks to financial support from Economic Development Canada (EDC) for Quebec.
  • Contribution equal to the amount raised via crowdfunding on La Ruche, up to a limit of $25,000.

Eligibility criteria of the La Ruche — ImpACTE Fund program

  • Open to businesses of all types and accessible to all types of project holders across Quebec.
  • Offered conditionally upon the successful completion of a crowdfunding campaign on La Ruche.
  • The campaign must have a minimum goal of $5,000, equating to a financial need of $10,000 considering the ImpACTE Fund's contribution of $5,000.
  • Applicable for a new project with a defined start and end date and an established financial objective.
  • Does not aim to finance regular operations.
  • Applicants must not have received additional national public funding for the same project or support from Canada Economic Development (DEC).
  • Available throughout Quebec to impact businesses registered with the Quebec Enterprise Registrar (REQ) under the following legal forms: Corporation, Partnership, Cooperative, Social Economy Enterprise, Non-profit Organization.
