    • Complete and submit the Intake Form.
  • Step 2: Proposal completion
    • Wait for the Intake Form review outcome.
    • If invited, prepare and submit the Detailed Proposal.
  • Step 3: Project management
    • Successful applicants sign the Investment Agreement.
    • Funding and reporting proceed through milestone-based management.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after Intake Form submission.
  • Internal staff and external reviewers assess the application.
  • Selected applicants may be invited to submit a Detailed Proposal.
  • Funding decisions are made at Alberta Innovates’ sole discretion.
  • Approved applicants must sign an Investment Agreement before funding is released.
