  • Administrative costs such as salaries, insurance, consultant fees, legal expenses, training, transportation, and IT.
  • Training, coordination, and capacity-building costs linked to infrastructure delivery.
  • Project studies, planning work, and management support for infrastructure programs.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Project costs incurred before conditional approval.
  • Salaries and benefits of First Nations community employees under FNIF.
  • Overhead, routine operating, administrative, legal, audit, evaluation, and feasibility study costs under FNIF.
  • Taxes and other costs eligible for rebates.
  • Land acquisition and equipment leasing costs under FNIF.
