Eligibility
- The applicant must be an entrepreneur from an ethnocultural diversity background and an immigrant.
- The entrepreneurial project must promote economic development and innovation in Quebec.
- The business must be registered in the Quebec enterprise register by July 30, 2025 (NEQ required).
- The applicant must provide proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent residence (or Quebec Selection Certificate).

How to apply

Understand eligibility and requirements

Gather and prepare documentation
- Prepare all required documents listed in the guide
- Ensure the business is registered with a NEQ by July 30, 2025
- Gather proof of citizenship or permanent residency

Complete and submit the form
- Access the application form online on the Entreprendre ici website
- Complete all mandatory sections of the form in French
- Attach all supporting documents in PDF format, properly named

Application evaluation phase
- Your application will be reviewed between September 1 and October 12
- The selection committee will evaluate based on set criteria
- No references to executive summary or financial projections considered in this phase

Announcement of finalists
- Finalists will be announced on October 20, 2025
- All applicants are informed of the results

Pitch to independent jury
- Finalists present their projects to an independent jury on October 29 and 30, 2025
- Ensure executive summary and financial documents are ready for jury review

Grant award ceremony
- The award ceremony for the Honorific grants takes place on November 13, 2025
- Winners receive formal notification and their grant
