How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the host or student application
- Obtain the correct application from the Sheridan College Foundation office or website.
- Review the program guidelines and complete the required form.
- Step 2: Submit the application
- Send the completed application to the Sheridan College Foundation by email or mail.
- Host applications are submitted to the Foundation office; student applications are submitted to Stephanie Ellis.
- Step 3: Complete follow-up requirements
- If selected, complete the required student employment paperwork.
- Host organizations may need to provide a job description and other internship details.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed and approved one semester at a time.
- Host organizations are selected based on eligibility and application date order.
- Students are matched to host organizations based on organizational needs and student interests.
- Selected applicants must complete the required paperwork before starting.
- The Sheridan College Foundation notifies the host organization when the student may begin work.
