Overview

Supports HIV-focused projects in Ontario with up to $150,000. Funding supports piloting, evaluation, and scale-up of HIV interventions and related needs assessments and quality improvements.

Activities funded

Eligibility

  • The proposed project must have the potential to meet the needs of populations in Ontario most affected by HIV.
  • The project should aim to drive changes in policy and practice across the HIV prevention, engagement, and care cascade.
  • The project should support more integrated health and social services.
  • The project should help identify effective ways to address social determinants negatively impacting communities most affected by HIV.
  • The project should contribute to a rapid learning HIV health and social system.

  • Collectives proposing HIV-focused projects in Ontario.
  • Community-based agencies (CBPPEP stream).
  • People living with HIV (CBPPEP stream).

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare letter of inquiry
    • Outline the project idea and how it aligns with the program’s objectives.
    • Identify the relevant funding opportunity (Breaking New Ground, CBPPEP, or Incubator).
  • Step 2: Submit letter of inquiry
    • Submit by the first Friday of the month.
