Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Director of Finance for completeness
  • Staff may verify the repair and may require a site visit or actual meter reading
  • Applicants are notified within 15 business days after submission
  • If approved, the applicant is informed of the credit amount to be applied

Additional information

  • Applications must be submitted within 60 days of detecting the leak and completing the repair.
  • Only one leak adjustment is available per homeowner.
  • Approved assistance is credited to the water and/or wastewater account, not paid as a refund.
  • Funding is subject to annual budget availability.
