- Owners of properties within the Maitland Heritage Conservation District
- Registered non-profit societies leasing government-owned properties and responsible for maintenance

- Government-owned properties, unless leased to a registered non-profit society responsible for maintenance
- Properties in the Maitland Heritage Conservation District built in 1940 or later

- Exterior repair and renovation work, including windows, doors, cladding, roofing, and steps
- Interior work needed for structural viability, such as foundation, beam, truss, or stormwater-related repairs
- Architectural, engineering, and other consulting fees

- Vinyl or metal siding replacements on buildings originally clad in wood or brick
