Heritage Building Restoration Grant Program

Funding for heritage conservation work
Latest source update
Last Update: June 28, 2026
Latest change: The Heritage page now emphasizes designated properties and related reference links, and the July 6 feedback callout was removed.
View change
Heritage page updated with new designation content
The Heritage page now shows a much larger set of designated-property entries and heritage reference links, including a new Doctor’s House section with a staff recommendation report, an evaluation report, and a designating by-law. It also adds Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act and “Heritage Designated Properties” content, shifting the page toward a broader designation-and-reference resource. The earlier community engagement callout and feedback form notice were removed, including the “Feedback for this program is open until July 6” message. The visible application-process guidance is otherwise mostly unchanged, so this looks like a scope-and-content refresh rather than a funding or portal change.
