Help a Buddy Fund Grant Application Eligibility (2026)

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

Eligible expenses

  • Routine animal care, including food, bedding, veterinary care, spay/neuter, grooming, and microchipping
  • Emergency veterinary procedures or surgery for foster animals
  • Related veterinary costs that directly support animals in long-term care

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Operational and administrative costs
  • Infrastructure and shelter design, build, or upkeep
  • Veterinary treatment for known conditions when the care could have been delayed beyond 30 days
