Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Indigenous Governing Bodies
  • Grid-connected Indigenous communities

Who is not eligible

  • Non-Indigenous organizations
  • Non-grid-connected applicants

Eligible expenses

  • Annual servicing of space and water heating equipment
  • Purchase of filters for furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and dual fuel systems

How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the maintenance or filter purchase
    • Finish the servicing of the heating equipment or buy the filters first.
  • Step 2: Apply online in CEM Hub
    • Log in to the Conservation and Energy Management Hub.
    • Register for an account if needed, with help from an Energy Coach if required.
  • Step 3: Upload documents and submit
    • Upload the paid invoices and completed project workbook.
    • Submit the application through the online portal.
  • Step 4: Review and payment
    • BC Hydro reviews the application.
    • If approved, the payment is processed.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission
  • Approved applications are paid out
  • Applications are completed online after servicing or purchases are finished

  • Energy Coach support is available throughout the process.
  • Applications are submitted online through the CEM Hub.
  • The program is offered in partnership with CleanBC and FortisBC.
