Who is eligible?

• Indigenous governing bodies

Eligible expenses

• Servicing space and water heating equipment
• Purchasing filters for heat pumps and furnaces

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Project costs covered by warranty or home insurance claims

• Complete the heating system maintenance work or purchase the filters for the project
• Submit the Application and required supporting documentation through CEM Hub
• After the project is complete, submit the Project declaration and final supporting documentation through CEM Hub

• Applications, Declarations, and supporting documentation may be accepted or rejected at the Administrators’ sole discretion, and decisions are final and binding
• After an Application is approved, Participants must not make changes to Project scope, schedule or costs without prior written consent
• Within thirty (30) days of completion of the Project, Participants must submit the Project declaration and all required forms and supporting documentation
• The Administrators may perform site verifications, and Participants must provide access and respond within thirty (30) days of a site verification notice
• Participants must retain copies of supporting documentation for at least one (1) year following receipt of the Incentive

• The program is funded and administered by BC Hydro, FortisBC Inc., FortisBC Energy Inc., and the Province of British Columbia
• The program includes four offers: Energy Efficiency Retrofit Incentives, Energy Assessment Funding, Heating System Maintenance Rebates, and Basic Energy Saving Measures
