- Complete the proposal form.

- Step 2: Submit by email

- Submit before the deadline stated in the guide.
- Step 3: Review and assessment
- NRCan evaluates the proposal against eligibility and evaluated criteria.
- Successful applicants may be asked for additional information during due diligence.
- Step 4: Agreement and funding
- Selected applicants are invited to negotiate and sign a contribution agreement.
- Funding starts only after the agreement is signed.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission against eligibility and evaluated criteria.
- Selected applicants undergo due diligence on finances, technical risk, team strength, and legal or regulatory issues.
- Applicants are notified of the due diligence result.
- Successful applicants are invited to negotiate and sign a contribution agreement.
- No funding is committed until the agreement is signed.
