Eligibility
- The applicant must undertake a project that contributes to establishing green shipping corridors or decarbonizing the marine transportation sector.
- The project must support adoption or demonstration of equipment, infrastructure, or technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping.

- Port authorities and marine terminals seeking clean equipment and infrastructure investments.
- Canadian ship owners and operators pursuing low- or zero-emission vessel technologies.
- Industry partners involved in developing or deploying clean marine technologies and fuels.
Eligible expenses
- Commercially available shore power systems and related port-side infrastructure.
- Electrification of port equipment, including charging infrastructure for vessels.
- Infrastructure supporting clean fuels for marine vessels.

- Projects located in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway network.
- Projects along Canada’s West Coast.
- Marine projects within Canadian waters eligible under federal programs.
