Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a Canadian local government, an Indigenous community, or another eligible sector organization.
  • The application must propose youth jobs focused on green career-related activities.

  • Canadian local governments (including municipalities, villages, towns, and regional districts)
  • Indigenous communities
  • Not-for-profit environment organizations
  • Environmental science centres, conservation organizations, and park authorities
  • Museums, education institutions, community NGOs, youth agencies, and community centres

  • Wages supported through a wage subsidy for youth positions

Processing and Agreement

  • CPRA reviews applications and makes funding decisions.
  • All applicants are notified by CPRA of the funding decision.
