- The applicant must be a Canadian local government, an Indigenous community, or another eligible sector organization.
- The application must propose youth jobs focused on green career-related activities.

- Canadian local governments (including municipalities, villages, towns, and regional districts)
- Indigenous communities
- Not-for-profit environment organizations
- Environmental science centres, conservation organizations, and park authorities
- Museums, education institutions, community NGOs, youth agencies, and community centres

- Wages supported through a wage subsidy for youth positions

Processing and Agreement
- CPRA reviews applications and makes funding decisions.
