How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application materials
    • Complete the FAST grant application form.
    • Prepare the required supporting documents and forms.
  • Step 2: Submit the application
    • Send the completed application electronically to grants@CureAngelman.org.
    • Submit all materials as PDF files.
  • Step 3: Send additional correspondence if needed
    • Direct questions about the process or suitability of the request to science@CureAngelman.org.
    • For fellowship applications, letters of recommendation must be sent from the recommender’s email address to grants@CureAngelman.org.

Processing and Agreement

  • Scientific peer review is conducted by the Scientific Advisory Board.
  • Applications are scored for innovation, rigor, impact, relevance, merit, feasibility, and budgetary considerations.
  • Recommendations are reviewed by the Scientific Panel and then by the Board of Directors.
  • Final approval by the Board is required before funding is released.
  • Applicants receive a funding response within about six weeks.
