Who is eligible?
- Canadian, permanent resident, and international graduate students.
- Thesis-based students in full-time graduate programs.
- Graduate students at Athabasca University, Concordia University of Edmonton, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, or University of Lethbridge.

- Submit your application to your institution; University of Calgary applicants must go to their Student Centre and click Apply for Graduate Funding in the Financial Aid section of the home screen.
- Wait for your application to be reviewed.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed through the participating Alberta institutions’ scholarship application and evaluation processes.
- If successful, you must meet the eligibility requirements at the time the award is paid.
- Students awarded the scholarship must complete annual and final reports through the term of the award and post-award reports after the end of the award.
- Multi-year scholarships are renewed annually after the first year upon satisfactory reporting by the student.
