Who is eligible?

  • Eligible restricted permit holders in Canada

Who is not eligible

  • Previous recipients of the Gold Medal
  • Engineers Canada board members, staff, and current provincial/territorial regulator staff or advisers, until two years after their mandate or employment ends

  • Professional achievement: 50 points
  • Service to the profession: 25 points
  • Service to the community: 25 points
  • Applications must be complete, on time, and within the stated length limits

How to apply

  • Step 1: Review the application requirements
    • Read the full form before starting.
    • Make sure you have all required information and documents ready.
  • Step 2: Complete the online form
    • Fill out the nomination form in one session.
    • Do not leave the form to save and return later.
  • Step 3: Upload supporting documents
    • Provide the candidate’s curriculum vitae.
    • Attach two support letters that justify and validate the contributions described.

    • Submit the completed application online before the deadline.
