- Teams must consist of at least one researcher affiliated with a public research institution in Quebec (university, college, or an institution with a research mandate) and one non-academic partner for implementation or commercialization of the results.
- Eligible non-academic partners include companies (Quebec, Canadian or international), industrial consortia, non-profit organizations, hospitals, and government organizations (federal, provincial, municipal).
- Projects must focus on human health and address a specific need of the non-academic partner.
- Projects must be carried out in Quebec and involve omic or multiomic sciences such as genomics, epigenomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, nutrigenomics, pharmacogenomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, or bioinformatics.
- Non-academic partners must show their capability to use, implement, or commercialize the project results.
- Teams must provide co-funding to match Génome Québec funds (1:1), with in-kind contributions accepted if they originate from Quebec, excluding the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie of Quebec (MEIE).

- Make sure to submit this request before May 5, 2025, at noon (ET).
- Step 2: Preparing the application
- Write a project proposal including proof of concept and planned innovations.
- Assemble the necessary documents such as the program presentation, call for proposals, application form, budget template, financial guidelines, and support letter template.
- Step 3: Submitting the application
- Log into the Génome Québec portal to upload and submit all required documents.
- Carefully complete the online application form.
- Finalize the submission before May 5, 2025, at 11:59 PM (ET).
- Step 4: Submission confirmation
- Check for a confirmation email after submission.
- Keep the confirmation email for future reference.
