- Step 3: Submit the Statement of Interest
- Submit the completed Statement of Interest directly to Genome BC via email at societalissues@genomebc.ca.
- Ensure submission is made by the SOI deadline indicated for SOC4.
- Step 4: Await SOI decision
- Wait for Genome BC to review your SOI.
- Receive notification of the SOI decision on the date specified in the high-level SOC4 timeline.
- Step 5: Prepare the Full Application (if invited)
- For invited projects, download and complete the SOC4 Application Form.
- Develop a detailed research plan consistent with the information provided in the SOI.
- Prepare a comprehensive project budget using the SOC4 Budget Template.
- Gather and include a letter of support from at least one end-user partner, as required.
- Use the SOC4 Request for Applications to ensure all required elements are addressed.
- Step 6: Submit the Full Application
- Compile the completed Application Form, Budget Template and any required supporting documents.
- Submit the full application package directly to Genome BC via email at societalissues@genomebc.ca.
- Ensure the application is received by Genome BC by the full application deadline (by 8:00 am) specified for SOC4.
- Step 7: Notification of results
- Wait for Genome BC to complete its review of full applications.
- Receive notification of results on the date indicated in the SOC4 high-level timeline.
