How to apply
- Step 1: Check the eligible disaster
- Verify that the event appears on the list of eligible disasters.
- Check the deadline to submit the claim.
- Step 2: Prepare the claim
- Complete the applicable claim form.
- Gather the required supporting documents.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Send the signed form and documents by email or by mail.
- If the deadline has passed, explain in writing why it was not possible to apply earlier.
- Step 4: Follow up with the ministry
- Provide any additional information requested by the Ministry of Public Security.
- Obtain prior approval before starting major works, when required.
