How to apply

  • Step 1: Check the eligible disaster
    • Verify that the event appears on the list of eligible disasters.
    • Check the deadline to submit the claim.
  • Step 2: Prepare the claim
    • Complete the applicable claim form.
    • Gather the required supporting documents.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send the signed form and documents by email or by mail.
    • If the deadline has passed, explain in writing why it was not possible to apply earlier.
  • Step 4: Follow up with the ministry
    • Provide any additional information requested by the Ministry of Public Security.
    • Obtain prior approval before starting major works, when required.

  • Eligibility is validated before the file is analyzed further.
