  • Season extension and controlled environment agriculture equipment and materials.
  • On-farm cooling, freezing, storage, and pre-cooling systems.
  • Commercial irrigation equipment and related components.
  • Off-farm hired labor for site preparation, assembly, and installation, where eligible.
  • Equipment and building components for on-farm production and storage facilities.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Replacement of existing season extension, CEA, or irrigation equipment with similar capacity.
  • Disposable or one-season materials, such as thin wall drip tape or field row covers.
  • Transportation units for produce.
  • Small manual tools and household-type irrigation equipment.
  • Processing equipment, tractors, land improvement, fertilizers, seeds, and similar farm inputs.
