• Completed Freshslice Cares – Grant Application form

• The applicant must be a non-profit or sports organization.
• The proposed initiative must facilitate and promote youth sport and physical activity (“Help Kids Be Kids”).
• The organization must clearly demonstrate meaningful services to children in sport.

• Non-profit organizations providing children’s sport services
• Sports organizations and sports associations supporting youth participation

Who is not eligible

Eligible expenses

• Player registration fees (provided via the relevant sports association)
• Sports equipment costs (provided via the relevant sports association)

• Communities in Canada where Freshslice operates

• Alignment with the goal of facilitating and promoting sport for children (“Help Kids Be Kids”).
• Demonstrated provision of meaningful services to children in sport.

• Download and fill out the Freshslice Cares – Grant Application form.

• Meet with the owner/manager of your closest Freshslice restaurant for application review.

• Email the completed application to the program’s designated email address.

• Applications are reviewed locally by the owner/manager of the closest Freshslice restaurant.
• Local Freshslice owners interview and screen applicants and provide initial approval recommendations.
• Head office makes the final funding decision.
• Applicants are notified of their application status within 10 business days.

• Local Freshslice owners interview and screen applicants and provide initial approval recommendations to head office.
• Applicants typically receive a status update within 10 business days.
• Funding is distributed through sports associations.
• Program intake is ongoing.
