  • Step 1: Obtain Funding Guidelines
    • Access the Department of Culture and Heritage website or contact the department directly to get the funding guidelines, including eligible expenses and proposal evaluation criteria.
  • Step 2: Prepare Funding Proposal
    • Complete a detailed project description outlining the initiative.
    • Clearly define project objectives and expected outcomes.
    • Prepare a proposed budget, detailing revenues and expenditures.
    • Develop a timeline for project completion.
  • Step 3: Submit Application
    • Submit the completed funding proposal and all required documentation to the appropriate department.
  • Step 4: Application Review
    • Your proposal will be reviewed by a Working Group, which meets once per year to evaluate funding proposals.
    • In urgent cases where the Working Group has already met, the Manager of French Services may make a recommendation for approval or rejection.
  • Step 5: Receive Decision and Funding Agreement
    • If approved, receive a Conditional Contribution Agreement specifying payment terms and reporting requirements.
  • Step 6: Reporting
    • Submit an achievement report detailing the project’s benefits, compared to the original proposal expectations, by the end of the reporting period.
