Who is eligible?

  • Any natural person or business registered in the enterprise register that operates in state forest territory and is required under a valid agreement or contract in force to pay the dues payable for volumes of wood from the public forest.

Eligible expenses

  • Partial-cut silvicultural work.
  • Related execution costs included in the treatment value.
  • Worksite ribboning of logging trails, when authorized.
  • Eligible lodging-related cost adjustments, when applicable.

Selection criteria

  • Previously identified eligible intervention sectors may be accepted in whole or in part according to MRNF evaluation.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Review reference documents
    • Consult the program reference documents for eligible activities and payment calculation.
    • Check the applicable prescription and supporting calculation files.
  • Step 2: Prepare supporting information
    • Gather the technical and financial information needed for the request.
    • Use the required calculation file to determine the aid amount.
  • Step 3: Submit the payment request
    • Submit an EATS during the work progress, when applicable.
    • Submit the RATF for the treatment year, or the contract-related activity report in the case of a call for tenders.

Processing and Agreement

  • The beneficiary can request a payment by submitting an EATS.
  • The beneficiary has until the RATF associated with the treatment year to request financial aid.
  • In the case of a call for tenders, the request must be made no later than the submission of the activity report and compliance with the intervention specification associated with the sales contract.

  • This aid is an adjustment to the calculation of rates for partial-cut treatments under Volet I of PIAF.
