- Elder honoraria, wages, and professional service fees

- Utilities, insurance, and rental of premises
- Equipment lease, purchase, maintenance, data collection, and reporting costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Purchase of real property, such as land or buildings
- Expenses incurred more than 18 months after the project start date
- Costs covered by another funding source

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission
- Applicants are notified of the result
- If approved, a Letter of Agreement confirms project funding
- Projects must be completed within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 18 months
- A final report is due within 6 weeks after project completion
