- Charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
Who is not eligible
- Organizations already receiving an active donation from the Foundation
- Projects presented by a university faculty without approval or recommendation from the institution's development office

- The Estrie regions of Brome-Missisquoi, Granby and its region, Memphremagog, Sherbrooke, Val-Saint-François, and Vallée de la Coaticook
- The Greater Toronto Area (GTA), plus organizations not located in those zones but whose reach is provincial or national
Selection criteria
- Compatibility of the organization or project with the Foundation's donation policy
- Sound financial management of the organization
- Scope of the project and the mission
- Community anchoring, autonomy impact, governance, innovation, reach, dynamism, anticipated outcomes, and the quality of the request
- When quality is equal, preference is given to organizations, programs, or projects with the greatest impact, greater autonomy, lower social inequalities for the most vulnerable, or mutualized services, learning, or outcomes
How to apply
- Consult the eligibility page.
- Read the information and choose the option that corresponds to your organization.
- Consult the electronic application guide.
- Create an account on the digital platform.
- Submit a letter of intent for a new request, or a renewal request if applicable.
- If invited, submit the complete application in the same platform.
Processing and Agreement
- All files are read and analyzed by humans and presented to the donations committee at the appropriate time; the committee meets six times a year.
- If the request can be studied, the Foundation contacts the applicant to invite a complete application.
- If the request is not admissible or funding is limited, the Foundation communicates within 30 to 90 working days.
- For a complete application, a final response is sent one week after the committee meeting.
- After acceptance, donations are paid by direct deposit, banking information is requested through a form with a void cheque specimen, and an annual 30-45 minute meeting is held.
