- Compatibility of the organization or project with the Foundation's donation policy
- Sound financial management of the organization
- Scope of the project and the mission
- Ancrage de l’organisme dans le milieu, impact on autonomy, governance, innovation, reach, dynamism, anticipated outcomes, and quality of the request are considered by the donations committee
How to apply
- Consult the eligibility page and the electronic application guide.
- Create an account on the digital platform.
- Submit a letter of intent (LOI) for a new request.
- If invited, submit a complete application in the same platform.
- For donation renewal, access the renewal form through the platform after receiving the personalized communication.
Processing and Agreement
- Only the LOI is reviewed at the first stage; no other documentation is needed at that stage.
- If the LOI is retained, the Foundation will request a complete application.
- After a donation is accepted, bank account information is requested via a form, together with a void cheque specimen.
- Don payments are made by direct deposit to the account.
- For existing applications under the former program, documents previously submitted remain part of the file and applications are reviewed under the new program.
Additional information
- The Fondation receives LOI submissions throughout the year.
- Only requests submitted through the digital platform will be considered.
- For requests over $100,000, a first review by the donations committee is followed by a second submission to the Board.
- For project renewals, a personalized communication is sent about 2 months before committee presentation.
