How to apply

Step 1: Confirm eligibility
  • Ensure the organization is a CRA-registered charity.
  • Confirm the organization can issue a tax receipt with detailed donation information.
Step 2: Prepare the request
  • Describe how the organization’s work aligns with youth, education, and/or health.
  • Compile the information needed to issue a tax receipt (including details of the donation received).
Step 3: Submit on time
  • Submit the request so it is received no later than 10 days before a Board of Directors meeting.

Processing and Agreement

  • Requests are reviewed by the Board of Directors during one of its four annual meetings.
  • Only requests received at least 10 days before a Board meeting are considered for that meeting.

  • The Foundation focuses its philanthropic support on youth, education, and health.
  • The Board of Directors reviews requests four times per year.
