• The organization must work in health or education, or with youth and vulnerable populations.

Who is eligible?

• CRA-registered charities
• Non-profit organizations working in health
• Non-profit organizations working in education
• Organizations supporting youth
• Organizations supporting vulnerable populations

Who is not eligible

• Organizations that are not registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
• Organizations unable to issue a tax receipt with detailed donation information

• Ensure the organization is a CRA-registered charity.
• Confirm the organization can issue a tax receipt with detailed donation information.

• Describe how the organization’s work aligns with youth, education, and/or health.
• Compile the information needed to issue a tax receipt (including details of the donation received).

• Submit the request so it is received no later than 10 days before a Board of Directors meeting.

• Requests are reviewed by the Board of Directors during one of its four annual meetings.
• Only requests received at least 10 days before a Board meeting are considered for that meeting.

• The Foundation focuses its philanthropic support on youth, education, and health.
• The Board of Directors reviews requests four times per year.
• Requests must be received at least 10 days before a Board meeting.
