Overview
The program funds First Nations-led initiatives to improve community well being and reduce poverty, including focus areas such as food security, mental health, employment, education and training, families, children and youth, social and cultural supports, and transportation. Maximum funding is $105,000 for Stream 1 community projects and $80,000 for Stream 2 planning projects, depending on the number of partnering First Nations.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a BC First Nation applying alone or in partnership with other First Nations.
- The project must focus on promoting community well being and/or reducing poverty at the community and/or Nation level.
- The application may be submitted as a single First Nation or a regional application with partnering First Nations.
