The First Nations and Inuit Cultural Education Centres Program supports projects that preserve and strengthen First Nations and Inuit cultures, traditions, and languages with no stated maximum funding amount. Eligible activities include the expression, preservation, development, revitalization, and promotion of their culture, language, and heritage through educational centres.

Eligibility

  • Eligible applicants are First Nations and Inuit cultural education centres.
  • Applicants may include member centres supported under the First Nations Confederacy of Cultural Education Centres.
  • Tungasuvvingat Inuit and the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami are eligible to apply.
  • Inuit cultural education centres may also be eligible to apply for the Inuit Cultural Education Centres Grant Program.
