- Organizations with political, religious, union, or professional missions
Eligible expenses
- General operating costs such as rent, telephone, internet, office supplies, technology, travel and lodging.
- Wages linked to core operations, alternative services, and mission-related activities.
- Costs related to advocacy, consultation, representation, and popular education.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Covering an accumulated deficit.
- Buying, renovating, or repairing real estate or transport vehicles.
- Activities or projects completed before acceptance.
- Debt financing or loan repayment.
- Costs already reimbursed by another program.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by a selection committee or by the Ministry, depending on the stream.
- Eligibility and program objectives are assessed before a funding decision is made.
- Applicants receive the reasons if they are found ineligible.
- A funding agreement must be signed before payment.
- Funding remains subject to compliance with the agreement and available program funds.
