- Owners of existing private seniors' residences (RPA) certified by the MSSS.
Who is not eligible
- New constructions or RPAs transformed in accordance with the 2010 Quebec modified National Building Code or the 2015 Quebec modified National Building Code.
- Family-type residences for older adults with at most 2 floors and at most 9 residents, where each floor accessible to residents has 2 means of egress, one leading directly outside.
- Supervised residences for older adults with at most 2 floors and at most 9 residents, where each accessible floor has 2 means of egress, one leading directly outside and the other to another floor area isolated from adjacent spaces by a fire separation.
- One-storey buildings intended only for older adults, with a building area of at most 600 m2, up to 8 dwellings, and at most 16 residents.

- The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux manages the program and has mandated the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de Chaudière-Appalaches to ensure implementation.
