Who is eligible?

  • Municipalities and regional county municipalities (MRCs)
  • Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal and Communauté métropolitaine de Québec
  • Arrondissement councils and agglomeration councils
  • Indigenous communities represented by their band councils; northern villages and Administration régionale Kativik; Association des corporations foncières du Nunavik and landholding corporations
  • Non-profit organizations mandated by resolution of a municipality, an MRC, or one of the councils listed above to manage the infrastructure covered by the request

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations or subcontractors listed in the RENA registry
  • Organizations in default on prior Quebec government funding obligations

Eligible expenses

  • Contracts for maintenance work
  • Materials and supplies
  • Rental of tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Signalization and related equipment
  • Salaries and benefits for staff directly assigned to the project

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Parking lot construction
  • Urban furniture not exclusively for users of the cycling infrastructure
  • Operating and maintenance costs for the facilities
  • Promotion and animation activities
  • Costs from suppliers registered in the RENA registry

How to apply

  • Complete the application form with the required information and make sure it is complete, understandable, and based on exact data at the deadline.
  • Submit the application to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility through the online service (PES) before the deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications received are currently under analysis, and no status information will be communicated to applicants in the meantime.
  • Beneficiaries will be informed by a signed announcement letter.
  • Applicants not selected will also be informed in writing.
  • Projects are preselected once they meet the admissibility criteria in section 7.1 and the requirements in section 8.
  • The Ministry may request any other document or information it considers necessary.

Additional information

  • The call for projects for 2026-2027 ran from May 1, 2026 to June 5, 2026.
  • Beneficiaries must sign an undertaking with the Ministry before receiving funding.
  • Recipients must comply with the Government of Quebec visibility protocol.
  • The Ministry may request additional documents or information.
