Who is eligible?

  • Prospective adoptive parents outside Manitoba placement arrangements.
  • Applicants for children who are not designated children.
  • Applicants without an approved placement by the director.

  • Home structural renovations for placement.
  • Goods or services related to the child’s condition.
  • Ongoing care-related costs for the child.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the application
    • Use the form provided by the director.
    • Include the required child and family information.
  • Step 2: Attach supporting documents
    • Provide the required medical documentation.
    • Include cost estimates or the family income declaration, as applicable.

    • Submit the application before placement of the child.
    • Submit after placement only if the child’s diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment plan changes before the adoption order.
