  • Freezing and storage of surplus blastocysts for up to two years.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Donor sperm, donor eggs, or donor embryo purchase costs.
  • Vasectomy or tubal ligation reversal.
  • Surrogacy-related legal or agency fees.
  • Genetic testing, long-term storage beyond two years, travel, meals, accommodations, and alternative therapies.
  • Multiple IVF cycles and treatments performed outside Canada.
