How to apply
- Step 1: Complete the application
- Fill out the detailed fee waiver application form.
- Provide the requested event, organization, and funding information.
- Step 2: Submit the application
- Send the completed form and accompanying documentation to the Administrative/Community Services Coordinator.
- Applications may be mailed, dropped off, faxed, or emailed.
- Applications must be submitted at least 60 days before the event.
- Step 3: Await review and decision
- The municipality will review the request and provide a written decision.
- If approved, complete any required rental and insurance documents.
Processing and Agreement
- The application is reviewed by the Administrative/Community Services Coordinator.
- The request may be approved or denied based on eligibility and facility availability.
- The applicant is notified in writing of the decision.
- If approved, the applicant must sign the municipality’s standard rental agreement and provide required insurance documents or purchase municipal insurance.
- If the applicant disagrees with the decision, a written reconsideration request may be submitted to the CAO for a final decision.
Additional information
- The municipality may require a damage deposit.
- Rental confirmation is only issued after full payment and a signed facility rental agreement.
- Approved applicants must provide insurance coverage or purchase municipal insurance.
- Applicants may request reconsideration in writing to the CAO if they disagree with the decision.
