Explore dates and eligibility updated
Explore now lists the spring and summer sessions for 2027, with the online spring session running May 1 to June 2, 2027, the in-person spring session running May 4 to June 4, 2027, and the online summer session running June 28 to July 30, 2027. The admission and bursary text was also revised: in-person students must still have completed Grade 12 and be 19 before the program begins, while online students only need to have completed Grade 12; the bursary is now described for full-time or part-time post-secondary students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and the application steps now require registration within the timeframe stated in the acceptance letter plus a Confirmation of Enrolment document.

Selection criteria
- Eligible applications are entered in the pan-Canadian draw
- Eligible applications not selected in the draw may be placed in a wait pool
How to apply
- Choose your top three Explore sessions before starting.
- Create a profile or log in to your existing profile.
- Complete the application form and click CONFIRM AND FINISH.
- Print the application and take the Declaration form to an authorized person at your school to fill in and sign the required sections.
- Sign and date the Declaration form, and have a parent or guardian sign if you are under 18.
- Scan or take a clear photo of the signed Declaration form and upload it under Supporting Documents; if this is your first time applying, also upload a scan or photograph of your government-issued ID.
Processing and Agreement
- You’ll find out within 24 hours if you’ve been selected or placed in the wait pool
- Places are awarded using a randomized, computer-generated draw
- Eligible applications not selected in the draw are added to the wait pool
- If spots remain after the pan-Canadian draw acceptance deadline, institutions may select eligible applications from the wait pool
