Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- Sellers or buyers subscribed to an active support package at Repreneuriat Québec.
- Buyers or sellers of a for-profit business legally incorporated in Québec or Canada and having a place of business in Québec.
- Buyers who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, or a company incorporated in Québec or Canada with at least one place of business in Québec.
Who is not eligible
- Subscribers to standalone services.
- Clients who have already received financial assistance from the Accès experts program between 2022 and 2025.
Eligible expenses
- Initial external expert fees for legal, accounting, tax, human resources and general transfer-closing support. Eligible examples include letters of intent, due diligence, contracts and negotiations; business and real estate valuations; financial forecasts; tax memoranda and asset compliance work; psychometric profiles; and legal, accounting or tax closing activities.
- This list is not exhaustive: other mandates may be accepted by Repreneuriat Québec.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Regular business operating costs, including tax returns and financial statements.
- Support external to Repreneuriat Québec, including commission-based experts, brokerage and intermediaries.
- Strategic planning and training.
- Repreneuriat Québec or other registration fees, administrative fees, GST and QST.
- Invoices dated before registration with Repreneuriat Québec, or outside 16 February 2026 through 31 March 2027 inclusive.

How to apply
- If you are not yet a client, enquire about Repreneuriat Québec’s seller or buyer support packages and the minimum three-month commitment.
- Prepare the Québec business number, specimen cheque, latest signed financial statements, the buyer’s letter of intent or transfer commitment document, detailed expert invoices and payment evidence.
- If you are already a client, complete and submit the official online application form with all required supporting documents.
Processing and Agreement
- Only complete files accompanied by official supporting documents will be processed.
- Any supporting document or document sent after the file has been submitted will be considered final for the review.
- Acceptance into the program is subject to available funds and approval by the review committee.
- Repreneuriat Québec reserves the right to modify the program without notice.

For the business being transferred, the applicable revenue threshold is 2 M$ and above, or 1 M$ and above in a strategic sector of the MEIE.
