Who is eligible?
- Extended Access members of DARC
- Artists working in digital arts, media arts, film, video, animation, sound art, web-based, interactive, or time-based digital projects
Who is not eligible
- Applicants using generative AI tools in their work

- Fee for an optional artist talk or presentation

Selection criteria
- Review by a recommender jury with advanced experience in video production and media arts
- Applications are assessed individually before group selection
How to apply
- Step 1: Log in to AMS and start a new application
- Access the My Applications page.
- Select New Application and choose the program.
- Start the application.
- Step 2: Complete the application form
- Fill in the required submission form questions.
- Save a draft if needed.
- Edit the saved draft later if necessary.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Click Complete Form and confirm submission.
- Press Submit Application in AMS.
- Check that the status shows Submitted.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by a recommender jury with video production and media arts experience
- The jury reviews applications individually before meeting to select up to three resident artists
- Applicants are notified of the outcome by mid to late May
- All applicants receive a response within about three weeks of the intake deadline
