  • The project must be a national or interprovincial/interterritorial forum for young people, such as workshops, conferences, or thematic exchanges, that aligns with the objectives of Youth Forums Canada.
  • The project must last at least 3 full days (excluding travel time) and provide a minimum of 18 hours of workshops and activities.

  • Public or private schools
  • School boards and other educational institutions, such as colleges or universities

Who is not eligible

  • Federal ministries, crown corporations, and other federal government institutions.
  • Organizations presenting projects primarily aimed at a competition (example: sports tournament).
  • Organizations wishing to finance an annual general meeting or the ongoing activities of their structure.
  • Projects already benefiting from funding from the Youth Engagement program in addition to the Canada Exchanges program.

  • Organizations located anywhere in Canada are eligible.
