Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Incorporated, profit-oriented small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada that are eligible for funding as NRC IRAP clients.

Selection criteria

  • Preference may be given to Canadian SME applicants with a minimum of 15 full-time equivalent employees.
  • Preference may be given to Canadian SME applicants that have commercialized one or more products domestically or internationally.
  • Preference may be given to Canadian SME applicants with greater than $500,000 CAD in annual revenue.

How to apply

Processing and Agreement

  • Project participants should contact their national funding agency early in the process.
  • Project participants should follow their national funding agency’s advice regarding national funding applications in parallel with proposal submission.
