- Canadian SME participants must be registered NRC IRAP clients

Selection criteria
- Preference may be given to SME applicants with a minimum of 15 full-time equivalent employees.
- Preference may be given to SME applicants that have commercialized 1 or more products domestically or internationally.
- Preference may be given to SME applicants with greater than $500,000 CAD in annual revenue.
How to apply
- Canadian applicants must register for the opportunity using the Register button.
- Each Canadian applicant seeking funding must submit an expression of interest form.
- Qualifying applicants are invited to submit the international consortium project proposal with their project partners.
- All project partners work together to complete and submit an application package to each implicated national funding body.
- Eligible project partners complete funding proposals and, for Canadian applicants, prepare an NRC IRAP funding proposal and contribution agreement with their NRC IRAP representative.
Processing and Agreement
- NRC IRAP reviews registrations and contacts applicants if more information is required.
- Qualifying applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest form.
- EOIs are evaluated by the applicant’s NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
- Canadian ICPP applications are evaluated by an NRC IRAP evaluation team, and NRC IRAP works with partner countries for joint review and labelling.
- Eligible project partners complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.
