• Universities or research institutes are not eligible to participate as partners in the national application in Türkiye

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Costs incurred in connection with the conclusion of the project agreement
• Costs for the sale and purchase of goods or services, or licensing costs or similar, between project participants
• Costs incurred by a participant during the period of its insolvency
• Costs for work carried out by employees at a university or higher education establishment that is non-compliant with rules on such employee’s outside activities
• Costs for publishing in hybrid journals

• The project and the French firm’s technical and financial capacity to carry it through must be assessed by Bpifrance
• Project proposals from Türkiye are evaluated on industrial R&D content, technology level and innovative aspect; project plan and enterprise infrastructure; and economic and national benefit
• DSTI will prioritise funding to SMEs and project teams with Black participants, women, and young innovators/scientists

• If applying from France, contact your Chargé(e) d’Affaires Innovation in your Bpifrance Regional Office and submit your national application on Bpifrance En Ligne.
• If applying from Canada, contact your IRAP representative prior to filing an application.
• If applying from Singapore, submit an application on the Business Grant Portal after prior consultation with an Enterprise Singapore representative.
• If applying from South Africa, inform the National Project Coordinator, share your project outline 6 weeks before submitting your project, and submit the national funding application form to DSTI within 7 days after the closing date.
• If applying from Türkiye, submit project applications to TÜBİTAK via PRODİS.

• In France, Bpifrance assesses the project and the French firm’s technical and financial capacity to carry it through.
• In Poland, the domestic application is the main point for evaluation by NCBR.
• In South Africa, projects go through a funding negotiation process with DSTI, and the funding sum is transferred in tranches in accordance with the project duration.
• In Türkiye, project proposals are evaluated according to three dimensions.
• In Latvia, if the project is marked for funding, the organisation is contacted by the National Funding Body to submit a special application requesting funding.
