Who is eligible?
- High school seniors.
- Students residing in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- Students planning full-time undergraduate study at a U.S. two- or four-year college or university.
Who is not eligible
- Employees, associates, financial professionals, and immediate family members of Equitable, Equitable Advisors, affiliated companies, or Scholarship America and their affiliates.

How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare application materials
- Gather your current complete transcript.
- Gather the first two pages of your most recently filed IRS Form 1040.
- Step 2: Complete the online application
- Fill out the scholarship application through Scholarship America.
- Provide the required financial information and personal statement.
- Step 3: Upload required documents
- Submit all required materials electronically.
- Make sure the application is complete before submission.
- Step 4: Await notification
- Watch for email notification in early spring.
