How to apply

  • Step 1: Purchase an eligible product
    • Buy a qualifying product from a registered business.
    • Keep the receipt and proof that the item qualifies.
  • Step 2: Complete the application
    • Fill out the correct application form.
    • For insulation rebates, pre-approval is strongly recommended before starting work.
  • Step 3: Gather supporting documents
    • Attach the receipt and proof of eligibility.
    • Include residency proof if your address is not shown on the receipt.
  • Step 4: Submit to Arctic Energy Alliance
    • Send the completed application by mail, email, fax, or in person.
    • Submit within 3 months of purchase or, for insulation, within 3 months of completing the work.
  • Step 5: Receive the rebate
    • Wait for AEA to process the application.
    • Approved rebates are issued by cheque, usually within 6 weeks.

  • AEA may request additional information to confirm product eligibility.
  • Final approval is made by the Executive Director of Arctic Energy Alliance.
  • Approved rebates are paid by cheque after processing.
