Eligible expenses

  • Project costs directly related to service delivery, such as advertising, equipment, furniture, materials and supplies, rent, signage, staff training, transportation, and utilities
  • Administrative or overhead costs linked to central support functions
  • Wrap-around supports for participants, such as childcare, transportation, access to technology, work clothing, and time-limited language support

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • In-depth skills training
  • Standalone training that does not fit within broader employment assistance services

  • English-speaking communities in Quebec
  • Francophone communities outside Quebec
  • Official language minority communities across Canada

Processing and Agreement

  • All proposals are thoroughly reviewed before a funding decision is made
  • If some elements are found ineligible, the Department may work with the applicant to adjust them before signing a funding agreement
