Overview

Provides up to $100,000 in media value per regional recipient and up to $400,000 for a national recipient. It supports Out-of-Home advertising placements that elevate community messages promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Documents Needed

  • Written proposal document outlining the media grant request

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a not-for-profit or charitable organization.
  • The proposal must promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through community messaging.
  • The organization’s focus must relate to equity, inclusion, and representation (e.g., ethnocultural communities; First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples; 2SLGBTQ+; women’s equality; people with disabilities; or similar groups).
  • The applicant must be able to participate in a short virtual interview if short-listed.

How to apply

Step 1: Prepare proposal document
  • Draft a document outlining your proposal for the media grant.
Step 2: Submit written application
  • Submit the written application to PATTISON Outdoor for consideration.
Step 3: Participate in interview (if short-listed)
  • Attend a short virtual interview/presentation to introduce your organization to the committee.
  • Present within the available timeframe offered to retain eligibility for selection.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are short-listed for a required virtual interview/presentation.
  • Follow-up interviews are conducted in April.
  • Final selection decisions are made by the end of April.
  • Short-listed applicants who cannot present in a timely manner forfeit their opportunity for selection.

Additional information

  • PATTISON Outdoor does not currently have media in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Yukon.
  • Messaging from the territories may be considered if placed in another part of Canada.
  • Follow-up interviews are conducted in April, with final selection by the end of April.
