How to apply
- Step 1: Request an application package
- Email NRCan to request the application package.
- Step 2: Complete the required documents
- Prepare the application, budget overview, declarations, and supporting documents.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Send the complete application package by email or hard copy by the deadline.
- Step 4: Await the decision
- NRCan reviews the application and sends a decision letter after assessment.
Processing and Agreement
- NRCan reviews submitted applications and issues an approval or rejection decision.
- Applicants are notified of the decision within 100 days of the call for proposals closing date.
- If approved, applicants receive a Letter of Conditional Approval.
- NRCan then sends a draft contribution agreement for review, where applicable.
- Project payments are made after review of duly completed and documented payment claims.

- Applicants may submit more than one proposal.
- Projects can start after the Letter of Conditional Approval, before the contribution agreement is signed.
- NRCan encourages aggregated smaller projects led by a single applicant.
